Based at her home in Wythall, Sue Wiseman carries out exclusive art classes to suit any budding artist. Specialising in absolute beginners the classes are designed to promote confidence and bring out the inner artist. Working mainly in water colour media, classes are guaranteed to be both relaxed and informal.
Sue is a highly qualified and experienced artist and teacher and has been involved with art related projects for over 45 years. Her journey began in the 70's when she attended Birmingham Art College and achieved a 1st class {hons} degree in interior design. Having worked in many different aspects of both commercial and domestic interior projects, her love for colour and texture enabled her to create paintings that perfectly complemented the interior projects she was working on.

Having qualified in 2001 with a PGCE in Art & Design,
Sue now concentrates purely on her art and she believes that anyone can create a picture to be proud of!
Courses
Although Sue's courses are designed for the beginner in mind, people of all abilities can attend. The workshops are held at Sue's home in Wythall, 5 minutes away from junctions 3 of the M42. All workshop classes and courses are small with a maximum of 5 students at a time. Art equipment is provided unless of course you wish to bring your own and a selection of refreshments are available at all times included in the price. The following workshops and courses below are currently available to book.
3 hour Daytime Workshops £59.00
Wednesdays 10.30am - 1.30pm (min 2 people)

Introduction to watercolour painting ---- Jan 31 / Feb 28 / Mar 27 / April 24 / May 22
Introduction to line and wash ---- Feb 14 / Mar 18 / April 10 / May 8 / June 5
Absolute beginners drawing & painting courses £125.00
for 5 classes (Please note these are non-refundable for weeks missed due to the small numbers in a class)
Friday mornings 10.30-12.30 commencing Feb 2 - March 1st inclusive

Designed for absolute beginners, Sue covers all the basic elements of art including line, tone, colour theory, texture and composition. She takes you through various drawing and painting media with all materials provided. Max. 5 in a class but please note I also need a minimum of 3 students to make a class viable.

Thursday mornings 10.15am - 12.15pm commencing Feb 1 - Feb 29 inclusive
Tuesday evenings 6.30pm - 8.30pm commencing Jan 30 - Feb 27 inclusive
Again designed for absolute beginners, all the basics of water colour painting will be covered and all equipment is provided.
